Moreover, it is a utility with already standing structures such as kitchen and office space, endowed with different species of trees and gardens and the ponds (oo, Ferencz Dugas, 2015). Furthermore, it is 5 acres in size prompting one to actual put something constructive in place to avoid wastage. Therefore, this piece of work will delve on SCAMPER technique so as give out ideas on its productivity ignition and the recommendation on the best plan to be adopted. SCAMPER Ideas on Concerning the Property SCAMPER is a technique whose main aim entails solving the problems barring innovations in a particular project for instance in our case; Environmental Technology Centre owned by Murdoch University which is current unproductive to the institution. SCAMPER is an acronym for Substitution, Combine, Adapt, Modify, Put to another use, Eliminate and Reverse. Santos, Amaral Gonalves, (2016) outlines that, the substitution method entails that the learning institution should replace the activities which are taking place on the farm at the moment. For instance, they can use this piece of learning for farming purposes. The availability of a garden means that the place is productive and thus if it is utilized in the planting of the crops used for the students and the staff could be beneficial. The reason is the assurance of cost reduction from purchasing of the foodstuffs away from the university. Additionally, Murdoch University can combine two or more ideas to bring viability from this land (Ozyaprak, 2016). For example, they can create a parking site for vehicles and a Hotel. The university idea of constructing the main gate in that place in future can help in serving this purpose. The students, staff and the visitors to the school can park their motorcades at this location before commencing the 15 minutes work to the university. The idea will not only be profitable to the university but also will play a vital role in reducing noise and congestion inside the school. As well, the Murdoch University can also adapt the already existing products into the better output. The ponds around can be made into more productive way through food supplements and clean water thus increasing the number of fish in it which can be sold to the community or even exported earning the institution some income. The rammed building buildings can be renovated so as to create room for the necessary act ions in them. The kitchen and the offices' department can be used in accommodating the workers who will be working in the fish pond, trees, and the garden to create room for a smooth running of the center (Khawaldeh, 2016). The garden could be uplifted by planting different species of fruits and vegetables both for domestic and commercial purposes in the University. Modifying the entire farm is another brilliant idea. The university can use this place as an Agricultural Research Centre. The idea is stimulated by the fact that it is located almost to the University veterinary. The office space could be constructed into a laboratory for doing practical from samples collected. The remaining space converted to the rearing of livestock for carrying out research (Poon, Tong Lau, 2014). Nevertheless, the university can as well put this piece of land into another function altogether. For example building hospital having in mind, the Fiona Stanley Hospital and the Medical Research Centre is near this place. By doing so, students who specialize in medicine in the institution will be privileged since they can access practical work within the university premises. More so, the relationship between the university and Fiona Stanley Hospital will immensely improve giving the school workers and the students' advantage of receiving subsidized treatment. It is incumbent to outline that the school could eliminate this property by selling it to private investors or even the community. It will be able to get some returns to finance other projects within the vicinity unlike when it is out of use. Reversing of the Environmental Technology Centre is also a good idea to the university. Murdoch University should change the current state of the farm into the project in which it initially entailed to carry out in the farm (Jasie?ski Rze?nik, 2014). From the name itself, it is clear that this land was to be used in the matters to do with conservation of the environment. The university should recreate it to fit into its purposes by constructing a hall for giving out education on the importance of conserving the environment and other mechanisms of creating awareness concerning the environment. Recommendation After critically analyzing the SCAMPER, it is prudent for the university to adopt the Reverse method. The farm from its name Environmental Technology Centre shows that this piece of land was entailed to provide a space for offering research on the environment. According to Dromereschi (2017), availability of the various species of trees and the several gardens means that the intention was towards ensuring that the land was heading towards the reconstruction of the area into a place which is environmentally friendly. According to analysis from the global world, the environment has been adversely affected due to cutting down of trees and uncontrollable emissions from industries which have prompted organizations such as United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) to continually give out guidelines in which should be followed so as to curtail the menace (Kaytez Aytar, 2016). Therefore, Murdoch University should set as an example to other universities by having this farm as a project ent ailed to improve the Gaia as much as issues to do with our habitat are concerned. All other ideas were good however; they were only subject to the wellbeing of the university. For instance, most were for equipping the students' knowledge and earning the school revenue without factoring in other challenging which affect the entire world directly such as environmental degradation. Additionally, the other ideas could be fragmented into accommodating what already existed within the university, for example, the issue of expanding of the Fiona Stanley Hospital. Basing on Reisman, (2016), this land is large, and thus it can be sub-divided to accommodate other businesses. In spite of making reverse idea as our choice, it is incumbent to underscore that it has pros and cons of its magnitude. The main advantages are that most people will have an opportunity to learn about environmental issues and will give the facility international recognition due to the trend involved in environmental conservation. The major cons emerge as a result of the community in which it has always felt the ownership of the property by using them for their wellbeing (Kwon Song, 2013). Most of them might rebel leading to tarnishing the image of the institution. More so, the finances required in establishing this project are significant, and thus it can paralyze other important endeavors of the organization. Furthermore, the procedure of receiving license for carrying out this business is tedious. Conclusion SCAMPER method is of great help especially to learners because it gives them room for critical thinking and making of the conclusions which are standard. The student using this methodology in learning is characterized by affluence of being genius since only few can embrace it in their learning process.
